New Look

Have you noticed my New Cutie Blog Lay Out? Well, that's courtesy of my dear friend here in the blogosphere no other than the sweet SHELO of Mi Mundo del Amor. Yup, shelo changed my blog lay out for free. That’s how sweet and generous she is. Actually, I asked first Shelo to help me in my wordpress blog for I dunno know how to beautify it’s lay out. But then she told me that she’s not so familiar with how to lay out wordpress blog instead offer me to change my Laine’s Abode lay out. At first I was a little bit hesitant for I’m kinda shy. Lolz (pakiput lang actually) but then at the end I did give in and let Shelo do my blog make over. Hehehe . . . So now I do have a new cutie girlie lay out. And . . . I love it! Thanks Shel so much from the bottom of my heart. :))

Here’s some helpful information on how to use your globe broadband tattoo kit effectively which I’ve learned from Ms. Janette Toral’s post. I’m sure this will certainly help me and clear my doubts on its usage.

In getting a best broadband internet connection it’s best to configure your settings and make it to WCDMA beacuse connection quality vary by location. And if you do a quick e-mail checking, it may be more useful to switch to kb-based charging because usually the kit is set to time-based charging. And to check your default browsing, text STATUS to 1111. To switch to Per-KB browsing, text KB to 1111. That’s how simple and convenient to use the plug-in kit.

Successful Parenting 101

1. Give your full attention to your children. Quality time is not about number of hours; it's about not thinking of anything else when you're with your kids.

2. Use more action, less words. Kids learn best through experience. Instead of nagging them about the do's and don'ts, allow them to experience what happens when they don't listen.

3. Empower your children. Value their opinion, allow them to help out around the house, even if it will slow the process. Children need to fell important.

4. Let your children learn by trial and error. Don't always "be there for him." Often, the hard way is the best way for a child to learn his lesson.

5. Don't argue with your kids. If your child throws tantrum, calmly leave the room and let him calm down on his own. Getting into a shouting match will only fuel tantrum.

6. Condemn the deed, not the doer. Never tell a child that HE is bad. Make it clear that WHAT HE DID was intolerable, but that he will always be loved no matter what.

7. Mean what you say. Keep your promises; enforce your rules - no questions asked. Your child will respect you more in the end.

8. Keep the end in mind. Never go for a quick and easy solution to any situation. Think of how the situation will affect your child when he grows up.

52 Weeks Challenge: 3/52

Ooppsss...I'm a bit late in posting my entry for today's 52 Weeks Challenge. Got so busy at the office today, have to attend a whole day workshop. Anyways better late than never. :)

This pictures were taken last November 2 at the cemetery while paying respect at my father's tomb. Unfortunately my son haven't seen his grandpa for I was not married then when my father died.

Just recently, I got hooked up with Taylor Swifts songs. (feeling teenager! Lolz) Then I was in love with her songs entitled "White Horse". In fact I play it over and over again....hmmmm...why is that so, maybe because I can relate with the song? Ows? lolz. And after listening the song this is what I’ve realized:
